The University of Arkansas at Little Rock invites applicants for a tenure track position as Assistant Professor of German Studies (R97943) in the Department of International and Second Language Studies (DISLS).
Qualifications: PhD in German/Germanic Studies, Germanic Language and Literatures or closely related field (all PhD requirements completed before employment commences). Native/near-native fluency in German and relevant teaching experience are required. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in German language, literature, and culture, conduct research leading to publication, collaborate with other departments/programs to encourage course offerings in support of German Studies, focus on revitalization of the German Studies program, and develop and lead study abroad experiences.
