The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) Department of Economics and Finance is accepting applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Economics (R99622) to begin Fall, 2010; this position is in addition to the assistant professor position (Req. #741 ) advertised earlier. The fields of specialization are open. In addition to courses in your area of specialization, the new faculty member will be expected to teach one or more of the following courses in both our day and night programs during a typical year: statistics, principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, or MBA-level economics. Ph.D. in Economics is required; doctorate must be completed by May 2011. The university expects instructional excellence and scholarly output appropriate for a school with AACSB accreditation of its undergraduate and MBA programs. The university is in a metropolitan setting with the Department of Economics and Finance housed in the College of Business.
