Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Everyone has problems at one time or another. Problems, like people, come in all sizes, types, intensities, and can come at any time. Problems sometimes start small, but can grow and spread to other areas of a person’s life, threatening a marriage, a career, or both.

The Arkansas Employee Assistance Program(AEAP) was developed to provide confidential counseling, information, and management consultation for employees who experience some form of personal distress. The program was implemented as a result of the commitment to the well-being of the valued employees. The University has paid the cost of the program. UALR recognizes the need to include family members in the helping process; therefore, your family members are eligible to participate in the EAP.
