Dr. Haiyan Xie, has been working with
the Department of Construction Management, College of EIT, UALR, since 2004.
She is an associate professor, licensed Professional Engineer (PE), Certified
Professional Constructor (CPC), and certified Construction Documents
Technologist (CDT). Her research area includes: the implementation of
Information Technology in construction, 3-dimensional (3D) modeling and
time-sequenced three-dimensional (4D) modeling, improvement of construction
engineering and technology, construction information retrieval, affordable
housing data analysis, and virtual reality. Dr. Xie devoted her time in teaching
the Construction Management and Engineering Technology courses since she was
employed in UALR. In addition to her service activities at the departmental,
college and university level, Dr. Xie has been
actively involved in the service to the local community and internationally. |
