The Information Quality Graduate Program's first graduating class was in 2007. Below we have included a short synopsis of what some of our graduates have been doing since completing the MSIQ program.

Greg Holland

Greg Holland graduated from the MSIQ program in December 2007. He has been a student in the Applied Science / Information Quality Ph.D. program at UALR since January 2008. Now in his 11th year at Acxiom Corporation in Little Rock, Greg has incorporated concepts learned in the MSIQ program into the standard quality analysis processes of the Data Acquisition team.

W. Cody Decker

W. Cody Decker currently serves as the Coordinator of the State Data Warehouse for the Arkansas Department of Education. Cody's responsibilities include managing the Network and Desktop Support IT Units, Data Administration, Arkansas Public School Computer Network's Statewide Information System and Data Warehouse. Cody graduated from theMSIQ program in 2007.

Christopher Heien

After obtaining the MSIQ degree, Chris Heien proceeded directly into the Information Quality emphasis in the Applied Science PhD. Chris currently has his dissertation committee formed headed by Dr. John Talburt. He is also collaborating and consulting with IBM on his related research in Information Product Mapping. He regularly attends both annual Information Quality conferences at MIT to meet with various members of Academia and industry to receive input regarding his research. Chris has been involved in other research at UALR including computer virus containment methods and entity resolution techniques, co-publishing in ACM and presenting on each of these topics. He has also been consulting pro-bono for several local small business and non-profit groups on various data quality issues. Chris is also teaching IFSC 2300 Object Oriented Technology for the second semester, and has been schedule to teach through 2009.
