Sara Parrott

Assistant Director, PDSO, RO

Sara is the Assistant Director and international advisor for UALR. She earned her BA in International Studies at Southwest Baptist University and is currently pursuing her Masters in Second Language Acquisition at UALR. She is a Principle Designated School Official (PDSO) certified for F immigration advising and an  Responsible Officer (RO) certified for J immigration advising. Sara spent 6 months researching in Prague and has traveled to China, South Korea, Belgium, Canada, Mexico, Russia and the Czech Republic.

Cathi Hollis

Administrative Specialist

As the Administrative Specialist for the Office of International Student Services, Cathi enjoys helping students from all over the world as they pursue their higher education at UALR. She has been a UALR student since 2005, pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She focuses on helping international students find answers to various questions they may have as they settle into life in the United States. Cathi has traveled all across the U.S. and into Mexico and Canada.

Vivien Fechner

Student Worker, President of the International Club

Vivien Fechner is an exemplary international student leader. She is originally from Germany and has been studying at UALR since Fall 2011. Her major is Studio Art with an emphasis in Photography and a minor in Public Relations/Marketing. She is a Donaghey Scholar and the President of International Club. As a student worker in International Student Services, Vivien enjoys learning about ways of life throughout the world. She has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe. She has even visited all the coastal nations of Europe by boat! In high school she  participated in an exchange program in England and completed a research program about a working camp in the Czech Republic. As the President of the International Club, she loves to meet all international students. She says it is her pleasure to help students find friends and things to do here in Little Rock!
