The MPA program requires 39 hours of graduate credit and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (4.0 scale) on all graduate courses used in the program of study for graduation.  With the approval of the graduate coordinator and the dean of the Graduate School, students can take up to nine hours beyond their program requirements to achieve the minimum GPA.  All requirements for the MPA program must be completed within six consecutive calendar years.

During the semester in which the student intends to graduate, the student needs to apply for graduation through BOSS. Check the Graduate School Calendar of Events for the deadline to submit graduation applications.  The application will be reviewed and approved by the MPA Graduate Coordinator and the Graduate School.  If a student doesn’t complete the requirements during the intended semester, the student needs to reapply for graduation.
