About Us

The Center for Public Collaboration is the only university center in Arkansas to offer education, training, and consulting about skills and best practices for collaborative governance and public dialogue.

Goals

  • To serve as an information clearinghouse about collaborative governance and public dialogue.
  • To assist leaders, citizens, and public and private organizations to work together effectively when collaboration is necessary to achieve a public goal.
  • To serve as an honest broker and neutral convener in efforts to address public issues and problems.
  • To give citizens the opportunity to engage in mutually respectful deliberative dialogue on public issues.
  • To direct the UALR Graduate Certificate in Conflict Mediation.
