Mailing Lists
Mailing lists are collections of email addresses that can be used for announcements, group discussion, or as a distribution list. Anyone with an email address can subscribe to a list. If you have a current ualr.edu email address, you can create a new or manage an existing list.
Common Tasks
- Subscribing
- To subscribe to a mailing list, use the Subscribe to a list link below or send an email message (from the email account you wish to subscribe) to listserv@ualr.edu with the following text in the body of the message:
- subscribe <List name> <Your first name> <Your last name>
- For example, subscribe RHET131001 John Doe.
- Un-subscribing
- To un-subscribe from a mailing list, send an email message (from the subscribed email account) to listserv@ualr.edu with the following text in the body of the message:
- signoff <List name>
- For example, signoff RHET131001.
