UPDATE: Blackboard service has been restored

UPDATE (5:05 p.m.): The vendor has confirmed that service has been restored.

UPDATE (4:15 p.m.): Service to Blackboard is in the process of being restored and you may be able to log in now.

UPDATE (3:22 p.m.): Blackboard hosting services has posted the following message on their Twitter feed: “An unplanned service interruption is affecting clients and services in the VA3 data center. We are working to correct the problem now.” UALR’s Blackboard instance is hosted in the VA3 data center.

UPDATE (3:05 p.m.): The outage began around 2:20 p.m., Jan. 27, 2014.

UALR is experiencing a service outage with the Blackboard learning management system. This appears to be a widespread outage in the Blackboard hosted environment affecting multiple institutions. Information Technology Services will be working with the vendor to see service restored as quickly as possible.
