Jennings is now the Director of Operations for the event that is currently taking place in Charlotte. He assumed the position in March while serving as a law clerk to the Honorable D. P. Jennings was the assistant managing editor of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law Review. He also competed as a member of the National Trial Competition Team and was a student member of the Henry Woods American Inn of Court.

His wife Mary also received her Juris Doctor from Bowen and was working as an associate at Mitchell Williams Law in Little Rock before the couple left for North Carolina. She also received degrees in Political Economy and International Relations from Tulane University in New Orleans.

Jennings received his B.S.B.A. in Marketing Management from University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2001, where he graduated magna cum laude. Prior to attending law school and becoming an attorney, he worked as Deputy Communications Director in the Office of the Governor and has worked extensively in four presidential campaigns.
