School to Host SE/SW People of Color Conference

April 4-7, the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law will play host to the SE/SW People of Color Legal Scholarship Conference 2013.

The conference theme, “Empty Promises? The Constitution at 225,” will allow scholars to evaluate the pursuit of equality and fairness after the Constitution’s 225th birthday.

The conference will also feature panels on the central theme – the Constitution’s approach to class, immigration, race, and women – and will also address related topics of bioethics, international approaches to race and ethnicity issues, and emerging issues in the workplace and in education.
