Pro Bono Events Planned

Students at the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law will have the opportunity to work closely with practicing attorneys during two events marking the school’s annual October celebration of Pro Bono Week.

Current students can work on their interviewing skills and gain practical experience while helping veterans prepare their wills and other planning documents in the Oct. 22 Wills for Veterans event. They can also partner with practicing attorneys at the Medical-Legal Partnership Wills Clinic planned for Oct. 23 at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Students should sign up to participate in one or both of the events by contacting Terry Harrison before Oct. 18.
