Bowen Student Named Treasurer for NAPALSA

APALSA President Jing Zhao was appointed as the treasurer of the national executive board.Second-year student Jing Zhao was appointed as the 2014-2015 treasurer of National Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (NAPALSA) at the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) Conference held recently in Kansas City, Mo.

“Being part of a national minority association is an exciting opportunity,” Zhao said. “Groups like NAPALSA have grown so much in recent years, and I am eager to work with these amazing law students with different backgrounds to make an even greater impression on the legal profession.”

NAPABA represents the interest of over 40,000 attorneys and 66 state and local bar associations. Its members include large firm lawyers, corporate counsel, solo practitioners, legal service and non-profit attorneys, and lawyers serving at all levels of government.
