Advocacy Slam winner

The Moot Court Board hosts Advocacy Slam, a yearly tournament for first year law students to learn to prepare oral argument. This year, the problem was about whether the search incident to arrest exception to the warrant requirement justifies a law enforcement search of the contents of a cell phone or other digital device owned by the person arrested. The winner of this year’s tournament was William Olson. His RWA professor is Professor Mader. The runner up was Justin Harper, and his RWA professor is Professor Barger.
