barrister galaTo celebrate, the law school will recognize outstanding alumni through the decades. The institution was first started in the 1960s as a night school extension of the University of Arkansas before becoming the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law in  1975.  In 2000 it became known as the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law, in honor of its former dean, Bill Bowen.

May’s celebratory event, “Producing Decades of Leaders,” will include an awards ceremony honoring finalists for Bowen Alumnus of the Decade. During the ceremony, one of the finalists from each decade will receive the award.
