University of Arkansas Associate General Counsel

The Office of the General Counsel of the University of Arkansas is accepting applications from qualified attorneys to serve as Associate General Counsel to advise administrators of the University on legal issues affecting the campuses and units of the University, including employment matters and litigation representation.  The position will be located at the University campus in Fayetteville.

J.D., Arkansas law license, and 3-5 years law practice required.  Preferred qualifications are experience in litigation, employment law, higher education legal issues, and governmental compliance.  Applicants must demonstrate maturity, sound judgment, good work ethic and ability to work closely with the other members of the General Counsel’s office.  Salary commensurate with experience, subject to statutory line item maximum.  Good retirement, health, life, disability, and other benefits.
