Black Law Students Association

The purpose of Bowen’s Black Law Students Association shall be to introduce black law students to the professional problems and responsibilities they will encounter upon admission to the practice of law, to address and represent the ideas and concerns of its members, and to promote cultural diversity and inclusion at the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law.

Bowen’s Black Law Students Association is part of the Southern Region of the National Black Law Students Association. We are happy to announce that this year’s Sub-Region 1 (Arkansas and Tennessee) Academic Retreat will be held at the William H. Bowen School of Law.

The SRBLSA Academic Retreat is a free event open to aspiring law students, current SRBLSA members, and legal practitioners.

For additional information, including a schedule of events, please review the Academic Retreat Guide.
