New Student Orientation

Your experience here begins with orientation week. Through a variety of activities, orientation acquaints entering students with each other and with the challenges of law school. You will learn the types of reading, thinking, and writing skills necessary to succeed in law school. You will meet faculty, staff, and current students and you will learn about academic and support services, career services, and various student organizations that will enrich your law school experience. In addition, you will interact in large and small group settings with your upper-level student mentors, who will work with you throughout your first year to promote your academic success.
