Networking for Arkansas’ legal professionals, law students, and graduates
What is TableTalk?
Legal professionals from around the state visit the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law to talk with students and recent graduates about their firms and law practices.
Interested in participating? You should:
- Complete registration by Tuesday, April 7
- Develop a one-page fact sheet about your practice
It’s that easy. By participating, you will help students learn more about opportunities in the profession. Bring plenty of business cards to exchange with students so they remember your firm.
That’s it. That’s TableTalk.
So, what’s the Plus(+)?
The Plus(+) allows you to interview for current or anticipated needs.
If you identify individuals who might fit a need in your practice, record their contact information to reference later.
A limited number of employers can conduct on-campus interviews during the event. By Friday, April 3, let us know you want to interview. A private room will be assigned to you, and up to six students or recent graduates will be able to sign up for an interview. Applicants will register and submit resumes to you online through Symplicity and you’ll be able to receive their resumes prior to TableTalkPlus(+). Call us at 501.324.9436 for more information.
TableTalkPlus(+) was introduced in 2009. The picture now shows interesting shifts in legal hiring.
If your practice looks promising – maybe you are starting to feel a little overwhelmed – but you’re not quite ready to add that new law clerk or associate, the seventh annual TableTalkPlus(+) has been designed just for you. UALR William H. Bowen School of Law, the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Arkansas Bar Association, and the Pulaski County Bar Association have joined forces to present TableTalk, a free career-networking event.
As a participating employer, you may customize this event to meet your needs.
We look forward to seeing you Friday, April 10, for TableTalk.
