Asian Pacific American Law Student Association

In 2007, the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law chapter of the National Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (NAPALSA). NAPALSA was founded in 1981 and is the first and oldest national Asian Pacific American law organization. As a local chapter, our goals are simple:

  • to educate, advocate, and promote the interests of Asian Pacific American law students at UA Little Rock and in the broader legal community;
  • to promote a deeper understanding of the political, financial, social, and historical role, contributions, and status of Asian Pacific Americans in America;
  • to inspire current and future law students and legal professionals to serve the interests and aspirations of Asian Pacific Americans and other under-represented peoples; and
  • to serve as an academic resource, a social network, and a community service group dedicated to fostering a supportive atmosphere for Asian Pacific American law students at UA Little Rock.

APALSA is open to all law students interested in Asian Pacific American issues.
