The UA Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law is dedicated to providing quality legal education to non-traditional students, working adults, and others whose best chance of attending law school is a part-time evening program.
The part-time program is designed to allow students to complete the J.D. degree over four academic years. The character and motivation of our part-time students is inspiring. Whether they have a full-time job, are full-time parents, or both, our part-time students have an undeniable tenacity to constantly exceed expectations and lead their class.
Part-time students have the unique advantage of participating in Bowen’s one-of-a-kind Part-Time Student Practicum program which provides students with experiential learning opportunities with judges and prosecutors.
If you are driven to push your career further and invest in your success but are worried about the work load and time commitment of law school with your already busy schedule, the part-time program may be the option for you.
Classes in the part-time evening program meet Monday through Thursday evenings from approximately 5:45 to 9:25 p.m. During your first year of law school, part-time students are required to take 10 credit hours a semester. The current Academic Calendar can be found HERE and this semester’s class schedule can be found HERE.
