Library Student Workers Receive Awards

Two library workers, Samuel Bonney and Paola Cavallari, were among the students recently selected for UALR’s Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. Both students received their award certificates at a reception sponsored by the Office of Student Life.

Samuel Bonney is a senior majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. He currently is a student worker for the Cataloging department.

 

 

Paola Cavallari is a senior majoring in Spanish and minoring in English. She currently is a student worker for the Reference department.

Each year, a select group of students is honored nationally with the selection to Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. This honor is conferred by more than 2,842 schools and is symbolized by the presentation of an award certificate.

To be nominated for this honor, UALR undergraduate students must be of junior or senior status and have completed at least 60 college credit hours with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Graduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
