Exploring Technological Innovations in Training Reading Recovery Teachers: Year 2

This study is a continuation study on the influence of technological innovations in training Reading Recovery teachers. Prior to the study, the results from Year 1 research were used to refine the technology components, including sound and video quality and Polycom and Zoom functions, and to plan constructive ways to involve teachers across remote sites in constructive discussions. Data will be collected on teacher learning and student achievement and compared with results from the traditional Reading Recovery training model. The study was partially funded by the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation and the Reading Recovery Council of North America.
