Connect through Learning Communities
Students who build relationships within smaller communities on a large campus are more likely to connect with networks of support, enhancing their chances of success. UALR offers two types of Learning Communities that make getting connected easy and the transition to college life fun.
The Communities
- In Living Learning Communities, students with a similar interest live together in a residence hall–usually on the same floor–and take one or more classes related to that interest together as a group.  Find Out More →
- In Linked-Course Communities, students also take at least two courses together as a group, but these communities are open to all students—both those who live in a residence hall and those who do not. Find Out More →
