Ever participated in a classroom discussion that got intense but not heated, deep but still interesting? Or maybe you’ve taken part in a class project that was challenging and fulfilling. That’s the goal behind our Linked-Course Learning Communities – to provide dynamic learning environments where minds are free to explore.
In a Linked-Course Learning Community, students take two or more courses together as a group.
The courses may share a common theme, look at a problem from different perspectives, or apply the skills learned in one course to analyzing or writing about issues addressed in the other. The Linked-Course Learning Communities are a great way to a successful start at UALR.
