Immerse Yourself in Culture
The arts learning community gives students curious about the world around them the freedom to explore. In this community, learning extends far beyond the classroom — students help professors organize events both artistic and intellectual, soak in the rich culture of Little Rock and other cities, and share it all with an entire floor of new-found friends.
Field trips aren’t for bystanders — our learning community students could get to:
- See a play at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre and get a backstage tour to meet the actors.
- Hear a concert and witness the collaboration of professional musicians.
- Visit the Arkansas Arts Center and see how the curators plan an exhibition.
- Take a behind-the-scenes look at artifacts and archives at the Clinton Presidential Library, the Center for Arkansas Studies, or the Historic Arkansas Museum, and experience the real “stuff” of the historian’s detective work.
