Arkansas State University is recruiting applicants for the position of Counselor in the Counseling Center.
The position requires:
- A Master’s degree in counseling or relevant discipline
- Supervised internship, clinical field placement or practicum experience
- One year of supervised experience at the graduate level in the counseling of college-aged students
- Appropriate state licensure within a one year period of appointment
The salary is $34, 701.00, a good benefit package and excellent working environment.
The general responsibilities of this position include working with college-aged students to provide: mental health counseling, interpretation of inventories essential for career counseling, and group and/or classroom presentation of counseling related issues. Office hours are 8:00-5:00 pm; however, there are after hours programming and evening and weekend crisis calls responsibilities as needed.
