For applicants who are currently serving in permanent classified service with the State of Oklahoma or those with reinstatement rights, please submit a cover letter which includes the Job Announcement #, Job Title and Job Code of the position for which they are applying, as well as, the applicant’s current contact information and an OPM4-B directly to the DRS Human Resources Unit to make application.
For applicants who is currently serving in the unclassified service, in probationary status or those who have never worked for the State of Oklahoma to apply through the OKCareers online application system. OKCareers requires the applicant to have an email address. Those persons who qualify for the Optional Program for Hiring Applicants with Disabilities (HB1340 or known as Special Appointments/Free Names in OKCareers system) should obtain a signed certification letter of their severe disability from a VR/VS Counselor (preferably scanned into a .PDF format), visit the OKCareers website and apply by using the Special Appointments/Free Names link on OKCareers web-page.
