Textbook Information
We now have three ways that you can order textbooks for your online courses in the Rehabilitation Counseling Program through the UALR bookstore. You can call the UALR Barnes and Noble Bookstore, fax your order to them, or order online at www.ualr.bkstore.com.
You are not required to use the UALR Bookstore. You can also use online vendors or local vendors. For example, you can order through The Campus Bookstore at www.campusbookstore.com or 501-562-5455, or you can order from Textbook Brokers at www.firstclassbooks.com or 501-660-4300. Plus, there are other possible vendors that you might find through an internet search.
Students enrolled in Practicum must attend regular videoconferences. This videoconference requires a webcam that can also be purchased through the UALR Barnes and Noble Bookstore, with your textbooks. Click on the link above for information about ordering textbooks and for detailed information about the webcam and how to order it from our bookstore.
Finally, practicum students must have a digital voice recorder (dvr) in order to complete practicum requirements. We strongly recommend the Sony ICD P330F Digital Voice Recorder. This recorder is available at stores like CompUSA, Best Buy or Wal Mart.
