Students emailing or leaving a message should provide the following information:

  1. name,
  2. UALR Student ID number, beginning with the capital letter “T,”
  3. Net ID,
  4. contact information—phone and email, and
  5. as much detail about the issues experienced as possible.A tech support staff member will respond as soon as a solution is available.

Technology Mentors: Some of the program graduates and current students who utilize screen readers to access course information have offered to mentor new students having technology difficulties. New students who wish a technology mentor should contact the program coordinator, Dr. Pat Smith at (501) 569-3169 or via e-mail at pbsmith@ualr.edu.

RT Mentors: Students who are new to the field of Rehabilitation Teaching/Vision Rehabilitation Therapy will be provided contact information for agencies and certified VRT’s who have expressed willingness to serve as mentors to new RT/VRT students.

Access Accommodations: Students requiring accommodations to access the online courses and workshop activities should contact the program coordinator and UALR Disability Resource Center as soon as they submit their applications to Graduate School. Online Library Resources: The UALR Ottenheimer Library provides assistance to all UALR students accessing library resources online.
