Concurrent degree programs allow students in the MBA program to earn a JD from the UALR Bowen School of Law or a PharmD from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences at the same time they pursue their MBA. Six credit hours from the concurrent degree program are counted toward elective requirements in the MBA program and six credit hours of MBA courses are counted toward the concurrent degree program, saving students a total of 12 credit hours across both degrees. Candidates must meet separate admission requirements to both programs.
For more information on pursuing a JD from the Bowen School of Law, contact the Law School directly. For more information on pursuing the PharmD from UAMS, contact UAMS directly.
Current students who plan to pursue concurrent degrees must complete and file a Declaration of Intent to Pursue a Concurrent Degree form. Contact the Graduate Business Office for more information (501-683-7490).
