What is CAMP?

CAMP is specifically designed for entering minority students who desire a more intimate introduction to our campus and community. Participants realize many benefits including:
• Partnership with a successful upper-level student;
• On and off-campus adventures including plays, sporting events, educational sessions, and more;
• Academic guidance and support;
• Detailed knowledge of campus operation, administration, faculty and staff.

CAMP students:
• Are first-time entering freshmen;
• Commit to one academic year (2 semesters);
• Maintain regular contact with a mentor;
• Attend 1 social group outing per semester and regular program meetings;
• Participate in 1 fall and 1 spring community service activity with mentor.
