Jennifer Boccarossa
Jennifer Boccarossa is originally from Little Rock. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance (2005) and a Masters of Secondary Education (2007) both from UALR. She is currently the choir director and an adjunct professor at Pulaski Technical College and Oak Grove High School. She is a featured soloist around the city for the Little Rock Music Coterie, Holy Souls Catholic Church, and Second Presbyterian Church just to name a few.
Recent musical theater work includes productions of Godspell and Sweeney Todd. She has also appeared as a guest artist in UALR’s production of The Coronation of Poppea as Drusilla. Featured solo work includes, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Telemann’s Jauchzet, ihr Himmel, and Handel’s Messiah. Other oratorio work includes Schubert’s Mass in G, Mozart’s Requiem, Rutter’s Mass of the Children and Requiem among others. She is currently the alto section leader and soloist at Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock, as well as a member of the international choir The New World Vocal Consort.
