SBSCH Facilities Usage Agreement

  • The SBSCH is reserved as is.
  • No admission fee may be collected. State law prohibits the collection of admission fees on UALR property with the exception of legitimate university events.
  • Smoking is not allowed anywhere on UALR property.
  • No alcohol is to be served in the Fine Arts Building without approval of the Chancellor.
  • Absolutely no food or drink is permitted inside the hall.
  • All areas must be cleaned after use. This includes the bathrooms, the stage and seating areas. Trash bags (not provided) may be left in the loading area at the northwest corner of the Fine Arts building. Users are expected to leave the premises in a neat and orderly condition. Failure to comply will result in cancellation of any future bookings and responsibility for damage over amount of rental fee.
  • It is the responsibility of users to train on the operation of the light and sound boards and the podium before an event in SBSCH. Arrangements can be made with the Music Office between the hours of 9 a.m. And 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. No assistance will be available after 5:00 p.m. or on weekends.
  • At no time, for any reason, shall any university property from this building be removed.
  • Events must have a faculty host from a department within UALR. This host must attend all rehearsals and events in their entirety. The host must be willing to be responsible for and personally oversee the setup and rehearsal process as well as the restoration of the hall and all other spaces used to their original condition.
  • All negotiations related to the event must be transacted between the UALR host and the Fine Arts booking personnel prior to 5:00 p.m. on the last working day prior to the event.
  • At the end of the event system power and lights must be turned off. All doors must be locked when leaving the room. • If the space that you reserved is locked, or the temperature needs adjusting, please call Public Safety at 569-3400.
  • Please have your reservation form copy available at all times while using facilities.
  • If setup needs to happen the day before, hall user assumes full responsibility of any items left in the hall overnight.  UALR is not responsible for lost/stolen items.
  • No other rooms may be used except the concert hall.
