Rehearsal Notes and Measure Numbers for Mozart’s Requiem

Feb. 20 and 24:   (1) Requiem, (2) Dies Irae, (4) Rex Tremendae, (6) Confutatis, (7) Lacrymosa, (8) Domine Jesu, and (9) Hostias

Nov. 25: The version of the Requiem score we are using does not have measure numbers included in it. You will need to write measure numbers into your score so that we can locate specific spots quickly during rehearsal. A measure number guide is posted below for you to use so that you do not have to manually count all the measures in each movement.

Oct. 14 and 21:  The notes from these two rehearsals provide an overview of our entire H.M.S. Pinafore production, including which parts of the choir are assigned to which numbers, who is participating in the dialogue between numbers, and the basic riser choreography.  Future notes may update or modify some parts of this handout as the staging directions evolve.
