The Center for Integrative Nanotechnology Sciances at UALR has set up competitive educational programs that educate middle and high school students, as well as undergraduate and graduate students in the field of Nanotechnology. These programs focus on the utilization of hands on activities such as lecture series, facility visits, instrument and experiment demonstrations, as well as more advanced programs aimed at exceptional students such as joint collaborations and research. Many top high school students and undergraduate students, who are already working with Dr. Biris’ group on advanced research, are already garnering national attention and awards in science fair competitions and academic records.
