Blackboard Users Conference Planned April 3-4
UALR’s Office of Extended Programs will play host for the third annual Arkansas Blackboard Users Conference April 3-4 in the Donaghey Student Center.
The conference is for on-line instructors, course designers, on-line support staff, and distance education administrators. Registration is open until March 27.
During the conference, educators, course designers, and system administrators from all over Arkansas will be at UALR to share their knowledge of Blackboard, WebCT, and Wimba. Topics will be presented by faculty and administrators from UALR, South Arkansas Community College, Harding University, UALR School of Law, Southern Arkansas University Tech, UAMS, and Ouachita Technical College.
Those in attendance will have the opportunity to network, visit exhibits, attend presentations, receive hands-on experience facilitated by experts, and share tips and ideas with colleagues. The conference is sponsored by Blackboard, Wimba, eLearning, Tegrity, Gateway, SoftChalk, Respondus, and UALR Extended Programs.
