Pre-admission advising

All potential applicants must be advised by the Department of Nursing prior to submitting an application.

The purpose of the session is to provide students with information regarding the program and is not to be confused with academic advising for registration clearance. Academic advising for registration for undeclared majors is provided by by the Academic Advising office.

During the information session we will discuss admission criteria, entrance exams, schedules, clinical rotations, coursework requirements, application deadlines, expectations for entering the program, and what it means to be a nurse and a nursing student. Faculty and staff will be available for individual advising so bring ALL UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS.

Advising will be held in the Nursing Building Room 205 or 206.  View the campus maps for building location and parking information.
