RN to BSN Selection Process

The UA Little Rock School of Nursing selects a specific number of applicants for fall, spring, and summer terms, for the RN to BSN online program. Selection is determined by the number of general education courses completed, general education course quality points, and nursing GPA.

Students must meet all minimum application requirements. Selection is competitive based on the number of applicants and classroom space. Please contact the School of Nursing to schedule an advising session to discuss enrollment.

The selected applicants will:

  • Receive an email indicating that they have been accepted into the RN to BSN program
  • Complete an online form to accept or decline admission into the program
  • Receive a follow-up email with instructions to complete the Curriculum Plan Option agreement to indicate if they are they are committing to either a 12- or 18-month curriculum plan option
