The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) Extended Programs, in partnership with the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS), offers courses at the Arkansas Studies Institute (ASI). The ASI, in its convenient downtown location, serves as an enhanced history resource for scholars and students and promotes research in the archival collections of UALR. Currently, at ASI on weekday evenings, UALR offers classes that students may apply toward the Master of Arts in Public History and the Nonprofit Management Graduate Certificate.
Adjacent to the Main Library in Little Rock’s River Market District, ASI features the latest classroom technologies including wireless Internet. Students may enter the facility on the south entrance; classrooms are located immediately to the right. Students should be prepared to present their UALR identification to the security guard on duty during evening classes. Ample parking is available in the area. Parking fees may apply.
