The Bachelor of Arts in professional and technical writing (PTW) develops written and rhetorical literacy through coursework that provides practical writing, editing, and document design skills for the 21st century. The 120-hour, online degree program has two concentrations: nonfiction and technical writing.
Prerequisite: ACCT 3311 with C or greater. Fund accounting for governmental and not-for-profit entities. Financial and budgetary control, the budgetary process in government, special accounting, and reporting problems of the public and not-for-profit sector. Three credit hours.
