Register for the Showcase

Deadlines are:

Priority registration is March 9th. Abstracts submitted by this date will be included in the program.

Final Registration deadline is March 30th (name,title and general information will be included in the program but not the abstract).

Extended poster printing deadline: Finished posters submitted to Dr. Ecke as a PDF at jsecke@ualr.edu by March 30th will be paid for by the Office of the Vice Provost of Research. Direct formatting questions to Dr. Ecke. 

Award ceremony will be held on May 1st at 1 to 2 p.m. in Student Services Center 104.

 

The UA Little Rock Student Research and Creative Works Showcase offers an opportunity for both undergraduate and graduate students to present their research, scholarly, and creative endeavors in all disciplines. Any ongoing or completed research or creative work done by UA Little Rock students is eligible, including but not limited to thesis and dissertation projects, senior theses, honors projects, independent study projects, capstone projects, and course-related projects. Activities may be collaborative or individual.

The Expo will:

  • Celebrate and showcase students’ involvement in scholarly research and creative productions campus-wide
  • Provide a venue that supports UA Little Rock’s combined educational and research missions
  • Allow students to exchange ideas and receive feedback in a professional setting

All research by UA Litlle Rock researchers involving human participants or animal subjects must be reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB), the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), or Institutional Animal Care and Use (IACUC) committees, respectively.
