Search Funding Databases

UALR ORSP subscribes to InfoEd; a funding database which is available for the UALR community. Additionally Grants.gov and Google Scholar may also prove helpful in your search efforts. Don’t forget to get to know some of the funding agencies that are available to you.

Community of Science

Community of Science is a funding and research opportunity aggregation website. There are many valuable resources listed within. The website is located at www.cos.com.

InfoED.org (SMARTS/SPIN Matching and Research Transmittal System)

SMARTS is InfoEd’s electronic notification system for the dissemination of possible funding opportunities. Whenever a funding opportunity matches your profile in the SMARTS database, an e-mail message will be automatically sent to you. Profiles may be modified at any time to broaden or narrow the scope of the profile. Follow these steps to subscribe to the alert service, or contact us.

The SPIN database is InfoEd on-demand search engine. It includes information on funding opportunities from federal, state, foundation, and other types of sponsors, and it is updated daily. It is the most used database of its kind. Follow these steps to search SPIN

Grants.gov

Grants.gov provides organizations with the ability to search and apply for grants from federal agencies. As of November 7, 2005, the Office of Federal Financial Management recently issued a policy directive requiring all Federal grant-making agencies to post opportunities online.
