The ORSP Coversheet has been Replaced

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs has retired the venerable “Internal Review and Routing Sheet,” replacing it with the “Proposal Authorization Form available now in the ORSP Forms section.” The PAR holds the promise of allowing ORSP to serve the campus much more effectively.

New Proposal Submission

ORSP would like to introduce some new Proposal Submission Tools to the UALR Community:

The PAR is a fill-able PDF document equipped with drop-down menus to assist in its completion. This form should accompany all proposal submissions to ORSP.

CAYUSE is a web-based proposal development platform that streamlines proposal development. It delivers a hosted Web solution created specifically for and the complex federal grant proposal process. Cayuse424 helps organizations of all kinds collaborate on, manage, and apply for federal funding. You will need a log-in to use Cayuse. See contact information below.

Budget Calculators
The BUDGET CALCULATORS are pre-formulated spreadsheets (initial budget period, 3 year budget and a 5 year budget) to assist in budget development. If you are not using Cayuse for your submission, the budget calculator can be used to provide the required detailed budget with your PAR submission. If you are using Cayuse, you can input your budget directly into Cayuse. The budget calculator can also be used to calculate any required cost share for your proposal.

INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP TRAINING on using these tools is available upon request. Please call Ahmed Abu Halimeh, 569-3366, Judy Camp, 569-8658, or Kaitlyn Simpson, 569-8496 for assistance.
