Disk Help

How to safely eject a disk from the G3 Superdisk drives

  1. The first step to remove a disk from the G3 Superdisk drive is to drag the disk icon to the trashcan. This will automatically eject the disk.

  2. The second step is to try to eject the disk from the program being used. If in Microsoft Word, go to File, Save As, and then choose the Eject button.

  3. The third step is if the program or computer is jammed, frozen or otherwise not responding. Try the manual eject (press the button) on the Superdisk drive.

  4. If that fails, restart the computer. Press the eject button on the Superdisk drive repeatedly during restoration, until the disk ejects.
