Backgrounds: please use high contrast between the background and the text colors, using combinations that are easy on the eyes.

  • Choose neutral or pastel background colors or wallpaper with dark text
  • Avoid brash color combinations like red & green or purple & yellow
  • Make wallpaper, graphics and animations non-distracting, and blend with the color schemes and theme of your site
