Use of Color to Convey Meaning: List of Assignments

Assignments that are required to be completed in APA style are in red and marked by an asterisk (*).

  • Watch video entitled “Talk” and write a one page reaction
  • Review Chapter 1 of Johnson’s book and write a 3 page response*
  • Complete the activity in your book called “Identifying Privilege”
  • Take a side of the debate on the support of civil rights and list 3 arguments to support your choice
  • Research Paper (Topic to be approved by me)*

 

Explanation: In this example, a symbol is used along with the red color to indicate that APA style is required.
