Fall Classes in Religious Studies

Whether you’re pursuing the minor in Religious Studies or you simply have an interest in learning about religions from a non-participant point-of-view, check out some of our fascinating offerings for the fall:

RELS 3333: Reading Sacred Texts: the Hebrew Scriptures

MW 1:40pm-2:55pm

  • This course will is taught by Rabbi Eugene Levy, and he describes it as a fun, yet thorough romp through the three major parts of the Hebrew Scriptures (which some folks call the “Old Testament”).

RELS 4385: Buddhism

TR 9:25am-10:40am 

  • This course will explore the different forms of Buddhism that exist today and trace how they all developed from the Buddha’s original teachings.
