More Ethics Bowl Success!

On Thursday, February 28, UALR’s Ethics Bowl Team competed in the 17th Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl Championship in San Antonio. Out of the 32 teams that competed, UALR placed 16th – defeating teams from SUNY Buffalo State and Georgetown University before losing a well fought round to the U.S. Naval Academy.

This was an admirable performance from five dedicated UALR students – Bianca Mayo, Rachel Horton, Georgette Huyler, Angela Johnson, and George Wilson – who have devoted lots of time and effort over the entire academic year toward preparing for this competition. The team is coached by Professors Allison Merrick, Roxy Green, and Michael Norton, all of whom accompanied the team to San Antonio for the meet. We are all very proud of the team’s achievement, and we’re looking forward to next year!
